Death of Neville prominent citizen K D Miller
Neville widely mourns as prominent businessman and postmaster K D Miller dies after three days of lagrippa at his Neville home. Born 1848 near Felicity, Miller built a respected career after Smith's Mercantile College and Kansas State Agricultural College. He married Laura Alowell in 1877 and Julia Hirsh in 1886. Survived by second wife, he was an Odd Fellow and state lodge representative. He was buried from the M E church with countywide attendance.

Drowned Man in Creek After Seizure While Riding Home
W. Drake a well known Cedron farmer aged 82 drowned Monday evening when a seizure struck as he rode home after hauling tobacco. He fell face down into Possum Run and was found by a neighbor. he left a wife and one child. The incident followed his earlier work day and unhooking his horse on a neighbor’s premises. He was respected in the community.
