Mrs. Fred Weaver died at her home near Union Chapel after several weeks of influenza sickness. Funeral services were held in Union Chapel with burial in Union cemetery Batavia. She leaves a husband and three young sons and many friends and relatives. The funeral was largely attended.

Ohio farmers are adopting certified seed with over 26 carloads already routed through the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation seed department. Cream producers in Clermont county eye cooperative market
Clermont Farm Bureau officials report rosy prospects for northern and western cream producers to market cream through a cooperative system. A Batavia conference with the Georgetown Association and Ohio Farm Bureau officials led to talks with the Co operative Pure Milk Association based in Covington Kentucky about handling cream and butter fat for the Southwestern Dairy Sales Association. A committee was appointed to work out an agreement, and a fertilizer rebate program of fifty cents per ton was announced pending spring shipments. The rebate results follow a long Farm Bureau dispute with fertilizer firms over pricing and distribution since 1921.
