A banquet followed with chicken pie mashed potatoes cranberries bread coffee and ice cream. Master Eli Speidel saluted the lodge home and plans for a larger hall were noted as workers prepare to raze the old building and move to Jamieson building temporary quarters.

The Withamsville Baptist church bazaar held February 24 in Odd Fellows hall drew strong support. Batavia Foundry Fire Destroys Building. Rebuild Planned
Fire gutted the Batavia Foundry on Tuesday night February 27 about 10 o clock. Gus Wilkie owner faced total loss on his portion with $1000 insurance. Carroll Jamieson Co. and others held $1000 losses with partial policy. The fire displaced about 15 workers and will delay machine works until insurance adjusters arrive. The structure will be rebuilt on the old foundation with rearrangement for efficiency.

Desperate Twin Creek Woman Fined and Imprisoned

Elizabeth Anne McClain born near her late home on August 16 1836 married Stephen Frazee September 27 1856. They had three children including son William who lived with her. Stephen died 1861. She married Alfred Tribbey November 2 1862. he died 1864, leaving a daughter who predeceased her in 1905. She joined M BE church 1858 at Lakin Chapel then M E church at Pt Isabel in 1898, remaining until death February 16 1912 at age 76 years 5 months 29 days.
