Aged Woman Elizabeth Shumard Passes At 76
Elizabeth Shumard, formerly near Newtonsville, died at her Girard Kansas home on February 11 at age 76. She lived in Kansas since 1882. Married to W T Shumard in 1859, they celebrated their golden wedding three years ago. She was a Baptist church member from youth. Her husband and four children survive.
