Clermont County Physicians Honored for Skin Testing Program
Eleven county physicians were recognized with certificates of appreciation from the Clermont County Tuberculosis and Health Association for their service to the annual skin testing program in Clermont County schools during 1963. The 1954 program will start in March as a cooperative effort of the County Medical Association the County Tuberculosis Association and the Health Department.

Ed O Roll of 1203 Goshen Pike Mt Repose was named Monday night to a five year term on the Clermont County health board by a 14 to 10 vote of the Health Advisory Council, replacing Grant G Cannon. Owensville village council elected Police Chief Robert McCowan as mayor and selected Harold Hodges as patrolman. Jail Escapee Captured As Partner Remains At Large
Paul Hazelwood Jr. 25 of Mt Washington was captured by Batavia officers after a jail escape from Clermont County Jail. Gary L. Simpson 18 of Newtown remains at large. They escaped by sawing a bar from a cell window and using a bed sheet to descend. Both had been indicted February 24.

Woman and Children Hurt In Icy Loveland Mishap
Mrs. Marian Roetelle 34 of White Street Branch Hill and four children were injured when a car ran off icy Branch Hill Loveland Road at 8 30 am last Thursday. Roetelle cited for excessive speed for road conditions. The group, taken to Our Lady of Mercy Hospital then moved to Good Samaritan Hospital. Hemlock boy remained at Loveland hospital.

Burns Fatal To Kite Victim In 36 000-volt Accident
Harry Adkins 12 died at Children's Hospital from burns covering 90 percent of his body after two boys flew a kite that touched a 36 000 volt line on January 22. David Hicks 8 died soon after at Cincinnati General Hospital. Services for Harry were held February 28 at Thomas Funeral Home Madisonville with interment Mt Moriah Cemetery.
