Hood of Portsmouth spoke as others from Leesburg Milford Brown County Manchester Felicity Hillsboro offered brief remarks. Music by Schulte's Band accompanied by refreshments. A Rotary Club organized in the Court House conference room on February 22 with 27 members. Harold D. Nichols served as temporary chairman and District Governor Robt Bangham of Wilmington outlined the club’s operations. Forty men attended. Harry Snider of Blanchester spoke on charitable work. Burglary at New Richmond Reported and Suspect Detained
Frank Perry longtime marshal of New Richmond reports a burglary at the L B Nobis home on Sunday morning while residents were at church. Stolen items include two gold watches clothes a shotgun canned goods eggs and other goods. Deputy Sheriff Tom Brooks and Perry later found a kettle of eggs at Ada Simpson McGill's home who claimed three white WPA workers and riding out with her gifted the kettle. Police also report a Sunoco station burglary in Felicity and Charley Wolf was arrested for drunkenness and disorderly conduct with a $25 fine.

Clermont Tournament Closes Milford Amelia Triumph
Three Embry brothers from Perintown were jailed on 500 bond after a freeforall fight at Linden Hill road house. In Clermont finals Milford and Amelia defeated Goshen and Moscow to capture 1937 38 cage titles at Bethel auditorium with Yeoman leading Milford in a 24 18 victory and Amelia topping Moscow 45 23 for girls.
