Cincinnati Bell honors Paff for 30 years of service
Frank J. Paff of Owensville, a Cincinnati Bell installation and repair technician, marked his 30th service anniversary with the company. A Clermont County native and Williamsburg High School graduate, he chairs Stonelick Township Trustees, leads American Legion Post 237 Batavia, and serves in the D.A.V. He did 39 months in World War II as a sergeant. He and wife Helen live at 498 State Rt. 132 with one daughter.

Highway Patrol Trooper Daniel C Tarvin of Batavia was honored in Columbus for his achievement in vehicle theft enforcement. In 1977 troopers recovered 1,676 stolen vehicles worth 4,655,580 dollars according to highway patrol officials.
