Governor Signs Clean Stream Bill Slated For 1968 Start
Governor James A. Rhodes signed a Clean Stream law making river lake and watercourse littering unlawful in Ohio. Effective January 1 1968 the statute imposes fines of 25 to 500 dollars or up to 30 days in jail with enforcement by state agencies.
