In conjunction with Clermont Mercy Hospital the Occupational Health Services Medi-Center promotes good health through pre-employment and annual exams executive physicals emergency care and follow-up of injured workers. Wellness programs drug screening and other services help companies maintain a safe occupational environment.
In this community notice, the emergency department highlights its highly trained staff with three year Emergency Medicine residencies and full experience treating all injuries and illnesses. It also mentions the Pediatric Orientation program where children visit the hospital weekly to role play as doctors and nurses to ease fear of a hospital stay.
Until this past year many cancer patients who require radiation therapy had to travel thirty miles downtown for treatment. The new Radiation Therapy Unit in the Medical Arts Building eliminates that trip. This reflects the facility’s commitment to patient-centered care.
