Disaster chief resigns amid county reorganization in Batavia

Barbara Purdum, head of Disaster Services, tendered a resignation Friday to the Clerk Commissioners Manager. Potts noted two others are due July 15. County commissioners restructured DSA, creating a county wide executive committee. Tuesday marked the first meeting under the new setup with villages and townships contributing $500 each to DSA operations as commissioners assume duties.
