Ohio's 88 counties posted total receipts of 396 million and expenditures of 389.7 million in 1958. Clermont County reported 2.146 million receipts and 2.338 million outlays. County operating costs rose by about 36.8 million. capital improvements fell about 0.5 million from 1957.

Scout Camp Boat Stolen and Burglary Reported
A burglary at Stonelick State Park and a robbery at Camp Friedlander were reported to Sheriff Clyde B. Dericks. Entry at the park was gained by prying a serving window. boat cushions candy and cigars were taken from the concession stand. A 17 foot aluminum boat was stolen from Camp Friedlander between 12:15 and 1:30 p.m. Tuesday per Deputy Roy Lyttle and assistant camp director Bob Moore.

Businessmen Seek Removal of No Parking Signage
Local businessmen plan to petition the State Highway Department to lift the no parking rule along the new four lane highway through Withamsville. They propose restricting the ban to 7 to 9 a.m. on the north side and 4 to 6 p.m. on the south side. The move follows a meeting with county commissioners.

Eight Separate Bids Sought For MGS Project
The Miami Goshen Stonelick Water System seeks eight separate bids totaling 3.1 million dollars. Bids due at 10 a.m. on Monday July 17 cover mains wells treatment plant booster station administration buildings storage tanks and related work.
