Clermont fireworks sale ban tied to Court of Appeals stay
In Clermont County a 12th District Court of Appeals stay could allow the State Fireworks Co. to sell and ship fireworks if the lower court ban is lifted. The Rileys of Bethel renovate a Mt. Holly building at 2099 Ohio 126 in anticipation of a favorable ruling. The 1988 civil suit over health hazards tied to their Amelia home spurred new bills tightening fireworks controls as lawmakers seek to curb illegal sales and ensure enforcement.
