FHA Extends Rural Home Loan Policy in Ohio
The Farmers Home Administration expands eligibility rules so a portion of the wife’s income may be excluded when calculating family income. If the husband earns 7000 and the wife 4000, half of the wife’s 4000 (2000) plus the husband’s 7000 totals 9000, meeting Ohio’s moderate income cap. Loans target families needing credit not available from banks, for open country or small towns up to 10 000.
