Mrs. Hiram Cade died suddenly at her Water Street home last Friday morning after years of consumption with heart failure as the immediate cause. She was about 45, left four children and a husband, and was daughter of the late Michael Groves. Funeral services were held Sunday at M. E. church with many mourners, including Mr. Cade’s relatives. She was beloved for kindness and devotion to family. pallbearers included Simeon Teasdale, Frank White, John Fishback, Frederick Gomien, Thomas Teal, and George Keen.
