The Williamsburg Grange will sponsor an ice cream social this Saturday June 23 at the Community Building. Serving starts 5 30 p m. Homemade ice cream cake sandwiches iced tea and coffee will be offered. There will be an old fashioned event.
Dr. Sanford Courtier will address the Clermont County Heart Council meeting at Batavia Presbyterian Church on Tuesday June 26. The program includes a question and answer session, review of a new council constitution and by laws, and discussion of future education and audits for donor transparency. Refreshments to follow. public invited.
Mary Homan and Rick Waits of Clermont County 4H clubs were selected for the State Conservation Camp at 4H Camp Omo near Utica July 23 to 28. They earned spots for leadership and citizenship, and will study soils, conservation abroad, and farm planning with field trips including a tour of the U. S. Hydrological Experiment Station near Coshocton as they prepare an inherited farm conservation plan.
Two copies of the Owensville Ohio Tax Budget are on file for public inspection. A public hearing will be held at the Town Hall South Broadway Owensville on Monday July 2 1962 at 8 p.m. Earline Smith Clerk Treasurer.
June 21 1962 Milford a cave in trapped Robert C Grimes 36 of Fayetteville for a short time as he dug a ten foot trench for a sewer outlet on Don Zeigenhardt property. He was pulled free and treated at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital before being released the same day. Jerome Imbus an insurance agent from Milford returned home after completing a summer school course sponsored by Mutual Insurance Company of Columbus.
