Thomas H. Stamm Sr. of Mt. Carmel, a renowned shoe last designer and Morton Last Company director, celebrates his 60th year in the industry. He helped develop the first straight line pump and 3 inch cutter heads for concave lasts, joining Morton in 1928 and later directing Vulcan’s Model Room. A testimonial dinner is planned June 26 at the Queen City Club with family and longtime industry friends.
