69th Ohio Sunday School Convention at Van Wert
The 69th Ohio Sunday School Convention will be held in Van Wert Ohio in June 1922. Citizens will house attendees and a Thursday night pageant will entertain delegates. A vacation school institute led by Adella Sterrett of Cleveland will train leaders with afternoon conferences for various worker groups and three banquets for officials and workers.

150th Anniversary of the Indians’ Removal Celebrated at Edenton
The 150th anniversary of Daniel Boone’s force driving the Wyandot Indians from Southern Clermont county was held in Edenton on Sunday June 17 with 500 attendees. Daughters of the American Revolution president Mrs. John B. Doughman and Anna Quinby led a program featuring music by the Newtonsville band and speeches by Dr. Galloway and Walter Boone. U S Army airplanes from Dayton scattered flowers over graves of Boone’s soldiers, and a memorial tablet marking Anthony Waye’s trail was unveiled. Joseph E Christy of Monterey aged 74 died at home after heart trouble. He served 19 years on the Clermont county fair board, including 12 as secretary. Funeral services were held at his residence and burial at Greenlawn cemetery Milford. A wedding united Agnes Robbins and Edward B Bliss at Walter McAdams home with a receptions group and local attendees.

Commissions in the Officers' Reserve Corps were granted to 125 Ohio State University students in six branches. Balloons Ferry Free Coffee Prize From Batavia Store

Town dispute ends with warrant for George Richards

Ohio Experiment Station entomologists report a tested dust mixture of arsenate of calcium and sand plaster as highly effective against cucumber beetles. Apply 1 part arsenate to 20 parts plaster dust per acre, start when beetles appear, repeat weekly, and adjust for rain. A handmade duster uses a tin can and nail holes to release dust.
