Two-Car Crash Injures Five Near Jackson Pike
On Tuesday afternoon June 5 two cars collided on Jackson Pike injuring five people including three children. Esther Christie and her passengers were taken to Mercy Hospital by Williamsburg Life Squad where Christie suffered knee lacerations and bruises and three-year-old Lewis sustained neck and facial injuries. Teenager Janet 13 and Dale 9 also suffered facial bruises and chest injuries. John Lakemire was hospitalized after being transported by Police Chief Vice and Sam Maham for a forehead cut requiring stitches and other injuries.
