Health Plans Considered by County Commissioners
County commissioners will meet with two insurance firms next Friday to discuss buying health policies for General Relief and ADC program children. A third firm will present June 18. Health insurance could cut costs for medical and hospital needs of the relief population as funds are exhausted. Dr. Albert Van Sickle urged a full time licensed practical nurse at the County Home and nursing for the elderly via a Visiting Nurses Association branch. A two year home care survey is under way and state plans may join the effort, potentially through the Community Chest.

Woman Injured As Car Hits Horse near Owensville
Bonnie Jean Strong 21 of Goshen sustained facial and nose cuts when her car on U S 50 struck a 12 year old saddle horse owned by Grant Knudsen of Stonelicks Township Life Squad. The horse had to be destroyed due to broken leg and back injuries. Strong was taken to Our Lady of Mercy Hospital Mariemont.
