The M. E. Church will observe Children’s Day on June 16 after Sunday school at 10 80. Clermont County Ministerial Association met June 11 to organize a funds campaign for Ohio Wesleyan University beginning in October.
J Isaac Maham the surviving partner of Dailey and Mabam expresses thanks to patrons and friends for kindness and courtesies shown during N T Dailey’s illness and death and for flowers and acts of sympathy extended to the firm.
Last Friday afternoon an automobile crash on the Back bone hill between Stonelick and Owensville involved four cars. One left the road into a ditch while another stopped to help and was struck by a fourth vehicle, throwing a woman through a windshield and injuring her. Five Williamsburg High School Vocational Agriculture students and instructor G. E. Wood joined 1800 peers in a livestock judging contest at Ohio State University Columbus on May 31. The winning team earns a free trip to Kansas City for the National judging contest next fall. Clermont county grand jury will convene this week to hear evidence in the Owensville bus crash last Monday night in which four people were killed and several injured. Warrants were issued for J A Polk, bus driver, and R E Curtis, Chevrolet driver, charging violation of Ohio statutes.
The Annual Banquet of the Clermont County Bankers Association will be held Friday June 28 1929 at 7 p.m. at the IOOF hall Amelia Ohio. It includes officers directors their families and invited guests from all county banks. New officers will be elected and each bank will contribute a number to the program. All officers and directors should notify their banks whether they plan to attend.
The funeral for Dr E C Ireton and his wife of Marathon, victims of a bus wreck near Owensville, was held Thursday at 2 p m with burial in Owensville. They lay in steel caskets in a cave and the scene featured sewers and the Masonic ring service. A son named John survives.

The Goshen Industrious Sewers Club met at the Goshen school house on Wednesday May 29. Members answered roll with a proverb and practiced a French seam plain seam one inch hem and buttonhole. Mrs Yemon led a lesson on making items and the group adjourned to meet June 12.
The June meeting at the school house included a talk by county agent Mr. Marion on 4-H Club work and child recreation. Strawberry short cake was served. A lawn fete is planned for Friday night June 29 on the school ground. Mrs. Kincaid is Press Correspondent.
