June date set for the open church wedding of Judith Marie Albasin to William Fritz. The couple will wed June 24 at 7 30 p m in Williamsburg Methodist Church with a reception in the church fellowship room following the ceremony.
Under Mrs. Faye Eckart Withamsville area of Union Township surpassed its 1966 American Cancer Society Crusade goal. Area Chairman Mrs. Edith Friedrick lauds Eckart and volunteers as the community joins in fighting cancer, with $1011.96 raised toward the $900 target as of now. The Berean Class rummage sale at Mt. Holy United Church of Christ and a New Richmond Garden Club workshop are also announced for June.
Eleven semifinalists compete in the Miss Clermont County preliminaries as part of the Miss America program. The event at Williamsburg High School on June 14 features judging on gown, swimsuit, talent, and stage presence with entertainment by 150 Ripley Theatre Guild members between rounds. The winner receives 500 and advances to Miss Ohio at Cedar Point. this marks the first Clermont County contestant in Miss Ohio.

A free public concert by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra is set for 4 30 Sunday afternoon June 12 in the Murray Seasongood Pavilion Eden Park If rain occurs the event moves to 7 p m Monday June 13 offering an alternate date for attendees.
