Fifty seven years ago today a cold blast struck the Olive Branch County Agricultural Fair Grounds causing frost damage to crops. A large crowd gathered for a Musical Picnic with Menters brass band from Cincinnati providing music while families picnicked and endured the unusual chill. Nellie T.
