Elmer Burkhardt 18 of New Richmond dies after a motorcycle collision with a Ford near the M E church in Amelia. Paisley Holt 18 is seriously injured with a fractured skull and internal injuries and is taken to Meade hospital. Four Cincinnati musicians in the Ford, and two girls from Williamsburg, were in the vehicle.

Earl Moore a Milford Ohio 16 year old student at Milford High School drowned after entering deep water at the Milford bridge on Friday afternoon. Other boys said he could not swim and divers searched an hour before the Cincinnati life saving squad recovered the body. He was the son of Mrs Earl Cook, dressmaker, Milford.
