Ohio Sunday-school Convention to Meet in Newark
The Sixty-Fourth Annual Ohio Sunday-school Convention will be held in Newark June 19 to 22, 1928. The program covers the entire field of Religious Education from Sunday school to new teacher and officer training by the International Sunday-school Council. A four day institute for Vacation Bible School Workers and a three day institute for Weekday Religious Instruction will be held. churches are invited to send leaders and prospective leaders.

The Batavia Decoration Day observance proceeded from the armory to the school house with a Legion flag presentation by Commander Foster. Rev Burdsall led prayers, children sang, and flowers were placed on every soldier’s grave before a cemetery salute for Daniel Brunk.

Clermont Farm Bureau Holds Milking Trustee Reelect. June Soil Meetings Set
George P. Hibbets of Bethel was reelected as Clermont county Trustee for the Co operative Pure Milk Association at a Batavia gathering. The group with 2100 producers spans Ohio Indiana and Kentucky and began milk distribution from Covington on January 1. Planned June soil meetings on Nobis Vance and Edwards farms will cover soil fertility lime clover and wheat variety standards with Edwardss wheat yielding 26 bushels per acre last year. Clyde F.
