Thomas Henry Spicer 47, owner of The Frontier restaurant and The Hut night club near New Richmond, died June 3 of a heart attack. Services set for June 2 at Lew F. White Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Rest Haven Cincinnati. He leaves daughter Sandra Sue Bushman and son William Thomas, plus his parents.

Buskirk Convicted on Assault and Rape Intent
Russell E. Buskirk, 21, of Mt. Washington, was found guilty of assault with intent to rape and sentenced to 1 to 15 years in Mansfield Reformatory by Judge Darrell Hottle. He was ordered to Lima State Hospital for mental observation before serving his term.

Auto Deaths and Injuries Reported Over Weekend
A Milford MA man Sam F Sehweiler 38 or 39 and woman Marjorie Hackney 30s were injured when their eastbound auto left Rt 28 and struck a tree near Milford. Sheriff Earl Moore investigated. A Sunday head on on Rt 132 between Batavia and Owensville injured four more: Albert Wittmeyer Annie Farquer Letcher Hicks Davie Hicks and Tommy Hicks. An 18 month old boy in Goshen was fatally injured when a car backed over him. Clarence Allen died at Drew's Hospital Loveland Life Squad. Earl Melinger 24 was driver.
