Governor Davey signed the Stacey Pollock measure changing vehicle registration due date from January 1 to April 1. The new law sets license tag fees at 7 dollars for autos under 25 horsepower 10 dollars for 25 to 31 horsepower and 16 dollars for cars over 31 horsepower.

Olin Maxfield, a Bethel musician, will depart next Friday for Washington to join the U S Marine Band for four years. He passed the band’s strict auditions after visiting the capital last week. Ohio Expects Record Wheat Harvest This Year
