Batavia Board Names Teachers for 1910 11 Term
The Batavia board of education met Saturday evening and employed teachers for the public schools for the 1910 11 term led by Superintendent J W Jones of Ceredo West Virginia. Principal Miss Cecile Hulick heads the high school with George Bauer as assistant high school and eighth grade teacher. Grades for seventh through first are filled by Miss Ethel Weaver Miss Estella Brown Miss Julia Long Miss Carrie Nichols Miss Elma Townsley and Miss Florence Gia teaches art. Only Superintendent Oppitz who resigned and Miss Ina DeNune assistant in the high school depart remain as in 1909 10.
