The past week saw the passing of W. A. Kain of Williamsburg Joseph Prudent a Sweet Wine road house proprietor near Coney Island Vinton Howard of Cedar Falls Iowa and William C McClintock prominent Lebanon newspaper figure. Prudent died suddenly likely of heart disease while at work and Howard died when horses dragging hay toppled him in Cedar Falls. McClintock once owned the Wester Star and died in Chicago aged about 62 leaving three children his funeral held in Lebanon.
