New Richmond gets fresh look with park upgrades and cleanup
Villagers from Fortnightly Club plant flowers and install a park bench at Hausserman Park on Front Street. SPEDY workers clear weeds along the riverbank, while the CIC funds repaint a nearby gas station building slated for storage. Two trees donated to the VFW shrine honor Margaret Hermann, and Plum Street Park renovation is set for August. The New Richmond Business Association provides $100 for paint, as a federal revitalization project targets a condemned Main Street structure.
