The Clermont County Historical Society plans a covered dish picnic at Mehl Dam. The event starts at 2 p.m. and runs until 5 30 p.m with the lunch portion beginning at 3 p.m.
Amelia Rick Rack sporting goods store sponsors the first annual wheelchair benefit run on August 19 at 10 am to aid the handicapped of Clermont County. The flat ten mile course runs out and back with a four mile loop, starting and finishing at Amelia High School. Entry is $3.
Amelia Batavia Girl Scout Neighborhood hosts five day camp at Clermont Christian Assembly 3054 Lindale Mt Holly Rd daily from 9 20 p.m. to 2 30 p.m. Earn badges in dance songs games swim and water fun. Cost 10 for registered scouts 15 for non scouts. Geri Stauter director at 753 8504 for details.
