East Fork Lake to Become Ohio State Park on Aug 12
A $50 million East Fork Lake recreation and flood control project will be dedicated as a new Ohio State Park on August 12 at 2 p.m. near Tate Beach on Elk Lick Road off SR 125. Gov. James A. Rhodes and Rep. William Harsha will speak along with other sponsors. The 2,160-acre lake will offer four boat ramps, over 200 trailer parking spaces, two beaches, and about 400 campsites.

Ohio officials plan widening of SR 28 from Service Road to Milford Hills Drive. ODOT aims to let the project in late summer or early fall with completion projected next year.
