East Fork Lake to Become Ohio State Park on Aug 12
A $50 million East Fork Lake recreation and flood control project will be dedicated as a new Ohio State Park on August 12 at 2 p.m. near Tate Beach on Elk Lick Road off SR 125. Gov. James A. Rhodes and Rep. William Harsha will speak along with other sponsors. The 2,160-acre lake will offer four boat ramps, over 200 trailer parking spaces, two beaches, and about 400 campsites.
