Edward B. Barker proprietor of the Barker hotel in Newport Ky was shot and killed by his brother Wallace at the Berry Place farm west of Batavia after an argument over incubator results. Wallace was jailed by Sheriff Swing with no charge yet. Coroner Mott will hold an inquest Saturday.
