John Ernet Jr. of Cheviot was arrested in Walton Kentucky last Wednesday for stealing an auto from Albert Hatfield near Georgetown last March. His partner is in the reformatory. Ernet, 20, said he was relieved to be stopped after sidestepping authorities. He was returned to Georgetown.

Goshen man Keesee sought on arson warrant
A warrant was issued for J. T. Keesee of Goshen township on arson charges. Sheriff Swing and two citizens confronted Keesee at his farm, forced entry, and he surrendered after a hearing before Squire Aber.
