Tenant Shot on Frank Miller Farm Near Marathon
Herbert Roehm, a tenant on the Frank Miller farm off Route AQ near Marathon, was shot in the leg Saturday afternoon by Miller. Miller fired a Flobert rifle while Roehm argued over corn plowing. Roehm was treated at Wilmigton and Christ hospitals. Miller was charged with shooting with intent to kill and bound over to the grand jury with $500 bond.

Plea of Reckless Driving in Amelia Incident
William Castler of Amelia pleaded guilty to reckless driving after colliding with Joe Dawson Jr. He was fined $10 and costs by May or Wiseman last Saturday. Castler must pay Dawson $1 per day for the time injured.

Truck Collision In New Richmond Injures Blythe
A. E. Blythe driver for Hi Port Bottling Works Batavia collided with a Ford on Market Street Friday night in New Richmond. Blythe suffered a broken rib and scalp wounds. the truck was wrecked and the Ford had a broken running board. Occupants escaped with scratches. Blythe cared for at home after transport by H. F. Buerkle and medical attention by Dr. Mastropaolo and Dr. Ashburn.

Paul M. Rapp filed a seven thousand dollar Civil suit in the Court of Common Pleas on Tuesday seeking a receiver to recover seven thousand dollars of alleged profits from a long running partnership with John B. Man Killed In Stone Truck Accident Near Clermont
Clarence Bee 82 of Salt Air was crushed when a Clermont Construction truck rolled onto him while placing crushed stone on Franklin Laurel road. He died after transfer from Meade Hospital to Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati. Driver Roy Miller. coroner Sam W White. Survived by wife and two children. Funeral Tuesday.

Clermont to gain 200000 highway project near railroad crossing
