Car Fund For Disabled Vets Offers Grants And Benefits
Veterans with adaptive devices on new or existing cars may receive VA assistance. The 1971 act raised the grant to 2800 dollars and allowed VA to cover replacement and maintenance of adaptive equipment for disabled World War II and Korean Conflict veterans. Eligibility requires loss or loss of use of a hand, foot, or eye from military service.
