In Batavia on July 7 Samuel T. Noble and Mrs. Maggie Espenschied of Amelia wed at Batavia with Rev. Burdsall officiating. After a family dinner, disputes arose over moving Mrs Espenschied’s son and his family to the new home. Noble, tired of the enlarging family, turned them away and returned to his lonely farm. Mrs Espenschied, a widow in six marriages, had moved on from previous unions. her first adventure with Noble ended abruptly as he left for solitude with his livestock.

Beechwood Camp Hosts Clermont County Youth Pageant

Struck by Truck Near Newtonsville Causes Injuries
W. 8S. White of Newtonsville was struck by a State Marvia truck while hauling hay near his home. He suffered a broken arm and two deep head cuts, his wagon was demolished, and one horse was badly injured. The driver claimed brakes failed. White was taken home in serious condition.
