Dr. Skeen administers polio vaccines at clinic
Dr. F. S. Skeen of Batavia, Clermont County Medical Society, led immunizations for 86 pre school children at Mt. Moriah Fellowship Hall in Withamsville. The Clermont County Health Department ran the clinic with assistance from Mrs Angella DeFelice county health nurse and PTA members, giving polio and smallpox vaccines plus diphtheria whooping cough and tetanus shots.

Drivers Back On 3 Local Projects in Clermont County
Local 100 of the Cincinnati Teamsters Union accepted a 25 cent hourly wage increase and other fringe benefits from area contractors ending a strike that halted work on three Clermont County projects the Rt. 74 relocation near Batavia Cherry Grove Plaza and the New Richmond dam. Yard workers remained out delaying concrete on sites while negotiations continued with no immediate settlement. The wage package totals 0.25 each year for three years raising drivers to 2.75 per hour after the third year.
