Noted Educator Dies In Columbus
George Roudebush 66 longtime Ohio educator and former Columbus public schools superintendent died suddenly of a heart attack July 4 at his home in Upper Arlington. Funeral services were held at Schoedinger's State Street chapel with interment at Goshen Cemetery. He taught 46 years, led Goshen, Grandview Heights, Columbus and Youngstown systems, retiring in 1949. He held degrees from Ohio State, Columbia and an honorary doctorate from Ohio Wesleyan. He is survived by his wife Mabel and several siblings.
