Sharon Stump of Milford has accepted an elementary teaching position with Clermont Northeastern School District. A Milford High School and University of Cincinnati 1972 graduate, she earned a Bachelor of Science in education and is a member of Kappa Delta Pi. She previously worked part time for the Milford Advertiser for five years.
Air Commodore Arthur Ray, age 76, completed a seven hour glide reaching about 186 miles. Ray served with Lord Kitchener, joined the Royal Flying Corps in 1917, and flew Nieuport Scouts.
