The replica of the General Grant cabin at Pt Pleasant will open for inspection on July 20. The site adds eight lots along the Atlantic and Pacific highway with a direct view for passers by. Dedication in early September will have Senator S D Fess Willis and Governor Donahey present.

Local Minister Rev Aaron K Sargent dies in Florida
Rev. Aaron K. Sargent died Tuesday June 28 1927 in St Petersburg Florida and was buried July 1 1927 at Miami Cemetery near Waynesville Warren County. He served Baptist churches in Bethel New Richmond Wilmington and Jonas Creek. Funeral sermon was by Rev Bennett, a lifelong friend. He married Anna Penn in New Richmond. Anna Penn died in 1907.
