Three Toll In Clermont County From Weekend Crashes
Three traffic fatalities and eight injuries were recorded in Clermont County over the weekend. The dead include Mrs. Rachel Foreman, 61, of Mt. Crab, John Charles Ernst, 15, of Ward's Corner, and Yvonne Daugherty, 16, of Cincinnati. Overall crashes occurred on Rt. 276 near Owensville, Guinea Pike, Broadway Loveland, Rt. 132 near New Richmond, and Tebasco Rd near Rt. 125. Injured drivers and riders include Horace Foreman, 62, and five New Richmond youths treated at local hospitals.

Milford trailer blast blamed on improper gas line
Deputies under Sheriff Clyde B. Dericks blame a poorly connected gas line for an explosion in a Milford Trailer Park trailer. Occupant Curtis Niemeister suffered burns to feet and ankles and was hospitalized at Christ Hospital. The blast occurred when Niemeister lit a cigarette. Trailer owner is Gino Antonio. Attorney Arnold Morelli says he will ask Judge Louis J. Schneider to reconsider former County Commissioner Don Ison's bribery conviction if the Ohio Supreme Court does not grant another hearing after denying his appeal.
