One Killed Nine Injured In Accident Near Chile
Frank G. Schaeffer a 66 year old Cincinnati businessman was killed when his car collided with a vehicle driven by Joseph Kreidler 24 of Maysville Kentucky in fog near Chile early Monday. Nine others including Carl B Byrd 58 of Roselawn suffered injuries and were treated at Bethesda and Hayswood Hospitals. The Kreidler party and Mrs Barrett and her two sons were reported in serious condition as they were transported to Hayswood Hospital in Maysville.

William Martin of Cincinnati was fined 10 dollars and costs by Justice of the Peace Nellie Mattox of Amelia after Deputy Sheriff John Woods cited him for blocking a highway used by a Wilhalmsville fire engine responding to a call. Three people were injured when the car driven by Dalza Lee Smith 23 of Mt. Adams Cincinnati had brakes fail and overturned against an embankment on Route 14 at Glen Este. State patrol in Georgetown said the crash occurred as Smith began turning right from Teal Road onto Route 74.

Meyers Sentenced To Reformatory In Break-In Case
Fred Meyers of Hamilton received a sentence from one to twenty years in Mansfield Reformatory for breaking and entering. Judge Harry Britton of Clermont County Common Pleas Court handed down the verdict after Meyers and two others were seen leaving a New Richmond grocery store. Meyer was wounded June 1 by store owner Larry Clark who alerted by a homemade burglar alarm.
