County plans computerization and capital projects
County officials are weighing adding to the automatic data processing system with 140000 in federal funds to cover the auditor's budget, children's services and records, plus similar funds for other operations in 1986. Budget pressures rise as revenues lag and workloads grow, risking staff cuts. Planning for a 20 year capital plan and a new county office building is under discussion, with water, sewer, and bridge needs highlighted and funding sought from federal and state sources.
