A Cler mont County Common Pleas Court hearing is scheduled for July 12 to block the petition to annex part of Pierce Township into New Richmond. The injunction was filed by Eugene W. Jacobs and Richard Schmidt through Cincinnati firm LeRoux and Weber for Citizens for Self-Government. An appeal against a Union trustees ruling on the incorporation area was filed by the same group.

The Clermont County Health Department will operate the service with physician oversight, an advisory medical board, and a per visit charge of 4.50, offering care to those unable to pay and coordinating with agencies for client services.
