Two Children Admit Dime Store Thefts
In New Richland two boys aged 8 and 9 confessed to breaking into E. J. Wells Five and Ten cent store on Front Street Sunday night. They admitted smashing a rear window and taking items including two nickels and a penny, hair tonic, shoe dye, an archery set, powder, powder puff and lipstick, and an unsuccessful attempt to break into the safe. They will face a county juvenile court hearing.

Incorporation Fails in Miaville Clermont County Vote
Miaville fell short of incorporation by 17 votes in Clermont County 97 against 84 in Tuesday balloting. With 177 of 278 eligible voters turning out supporters seek another vote. Had it passed Miaville would have been the county's 13th incorporated village.
