Tax Settlements Approved in Columbus Visit

The Court of Appeals reversed the Clermont County Court of Common Pleas verdict for defendant in Kerr and Kerr vs Parsons over water supply misrepresentation. Arthur Crum a 50 year old Bethel grocer is set for a Thursday evening hearing before Mayor Luther Santer on a charge of possessing whiskey and wine in a dry community. A raid last weekend by Sheriff Clyde Dericks Deputy Marvin Bisantz and Police Chief Howard Pitzer uncovered 28 pints of wine several bottles of whiskey and broken bottles. Bethel has been a dry town for years.
