Charles Schobert, longtime Batavia Township farmer, died Sunday night after a four week illness. He resided on his Owensburg home farm with his family. Survived by widow, one son, one daughter and many friends. Services Wednesday at 9 at the residence and 10 at the U B Church Batavia, conducted by Rev. Wagner. Burial in Union cemetery. The family receives widespread sympathy.
