Williamsburg gains a concrete reinforced bridge on Route No 74 replacing the old covered span. The project costs about 72 231.90 dollars, is 173 feet long, with concrete approaches two middle piers an 80 foot roadway and walkways on both sides. It should be among the county’s finest and enhance town appearance. Bids open February 15 completion set for September 1 1935. State employment service will assist the winning bidder with an employment list.

Henry M. Reynolds longtime Batavia marshal and street commissioner died at his home after months of illness. Born in Bugford he lived here as a farmer and contractor and was respected by all. He leaves a widow two sons and two grandsons. Funeral services Friday at the Moore Funeral Home.

Auto License Money Distribution in Clermont County 1935
Clermont county received 28,040 from the first general distribution of 1935 auto license money. Official figures submitted by Registrar Frank West to State Highway Director John Jaster Jr. show about six and one half million dollars distributed to Ohio counties, exceeding 1934 by nearly one million. Seventy two percent of license fees in the county plus a five percent equalization fund of 5,000 were returned to the county. The breakdown lists delinquent-like entries for Clermont districts totaling 28,040 with an equalization fund of 6,000.

Hogs Stolen From Clarence Ragland Farm Near Perintown
