Largest Still Seized By Officials In Ohio Raid
Federal state and Zanesville officers arrested 11 men, many from Cleveland, and seized a 5,000 gallon a day illicit liquor still valued at 160 000 to 200 000 dollars. Federal agent H K Bruner said it was the largest and most costly illicit outfit ever seized in the United States. The plant produced about 5 000 gallons of 190 proof alcohol daily for at least three months and was operating when raided.

New Men Enroll at Local CCC Camp
Seventy nine new men are expected from Camp Knox at the local CCC Camp Bethel on Thursday. They replace fifty nine discharged after completing their 165 month service period. Many find work in home communities and pursue further education. The CCC Camp, active a little over a year, tackles soil erosion under the State Forestry Division, with growing recognition from farmers for its work and increasing demand for erosion control on fields.

Death of Archie Houser at Meade Hospital
Archie Houser died Saturday morning at Meade Hospital New Richmond after surgery on Friday. A Felicity Christian Church member and Grange Lodge figure, he led the Felicity Franklin School Board as president and is survived by his widow two daughters his mother and two brothers. Funeral services were Tuesday at 2 p m at the residence with Rev E R Errett officiating and burial in Felicity cemetery.
