Past Masters Form Sixth District Society in Bethel
The Association of Past Masters, F and A M Sixth District of Ohio, met January 31 in Bethel with 72 charter members and established a permanent organization. Officers elected: James M. Fitzpatrick president, Edwin C. Fly secretary treasurer, Harry B. Holden first vice president, Clyde N. Kress second vice president, Clyde C. Cox third vice president. An Executive Committee from officers and one charter lodge member was formed. A constitution was adopted for printing, to foster social and educational aims and advance Masonry. All district Masters and past masters are eligible for membership.

Sheriff Hunts Down Wing of Clermont County Chicken Thieves
Deputy Sheriff Thomas Brooks went to Corbley Kentucky on Tuesday to return Garlath Handlen of Cincinnati who is charged with operating within a ring of chicken thieves in Clermont County and selling stolen goods to Cincinnati commission men. One of three suspects remains at large. One is jailed and their truck is recovered.

Youth In Trouble Over Mail Theft Charge
Ralph Lance, 17, of Williamsburg, arrested by post office detectives for stealing mail in transit for Bell Telephone Co. He pleaded guilty in Cincinnati and was bound over to the Federal grand jury under a $500 bond. He is described as a school boy.

Robbery at Kroger and Williamsburg station
Burglars entered the Williamsburg Kroger last Thursday night and stole cigarettes tea and coffee totaling 110 dollars. The Tue N W Station at Williamsburg was broken into with a pinch bar and a candy vending machine removed but no money was taken. Three Institutes Farmers Institutes to be Held in Bethel Edenton and Williamsburg
County Agent Baugh announces three Farmers Institutes popular this winter will be held in Bethel Edenton and Williamsburg next week. Bethel hosts February 11 and 12 at the school auditorium, Edenton hosts February 12 and 13 with some sessions at the church, and Williamsburg hosts February 14 and 15 at the school auditorium. Morgan Convicted in Burglary Case at New Richmond
Herman Morgan of New Richmond was found guilty by a common pleas jury of burglary. Five of six indicted by the recent grand jury were convicted and sent to prison or jail. the sixth case awaits trial. Three defendants were moved to Columbus, including Morgan who drew 1 to 15 years. Ed Brophy received 1 to 10 years for embezzlement and Edward Boehms 1 to 3 years for non support. Prosecution was Frank Roberts. Morgan’s lawyers were Robert Hair and Sterling L Brown. Walter Newell pleaded guilty to assault and Roy Anthen to petit larceny with departure from the state as condition.
